Gemma is an animated series for a worldwide audience of soccer fans and for kids ages 6 to 13 in particular. Originally introduced for mobile, Gemma , through its new association with Italian soccer is fast becoming a presence in the sport itself.
The series of animated shorts features Gemma, a 2-year-old soccer genius, who hides her amazing skills and strategy from everyone except her 8-year-old brother. Together, they solve their problems at home and school, and most importantly, win on the soccer field in animated adventures filled with zany action and humor.
Originally launched in Israel, Gemma quickly became the second most popular content download outside of music on Orange Mobile. The series was picked up by Israel’s Channel 6 Television and became a popular cartoon strip in Rosh 1 , an Israeli children’s magazine.
